Al Madina Insurance Company was incorporated in 2006. With the historic introduction of Islamic Financial Services in Oman, Al Madina converted itself into a Takaful Insurance Company from 1^st January 2014.

The Company’s trade name ‘Al Madina Takaful’ symbolizes the vision of harmony with our stakeholders.

Al Madina Takaful is amongst the top 10 insurance companies in Oman and is listed on Muscat Securities Market (MSM). The Company is strongly capitalized, well above the regulatory minimum, with a Ba1 (Stable) rating from Moody’s Investment Services (MIS), an international rating agency.

Al Madina Takaful distinguishes itself by providing solutions appropriate to the needs of policyholders, superior customer experience, and being empathic to Claimants during their hour of need.
